VP – HR Governance
Salary: £90,000 – £110,000 + Bonus!
Contract: 12 months
Location: London (Hybrid working model)
Frazer Jones are seeking an experienced VP – HR Governance to join one of our well-known Financial Services clients on a 12-month contract. This role is pivotal in driving compliance, consistency, and excellence across HR governance processes throughout EMEA. If you have a strong background in HR compliance, contractual documentation, and strategic project delivery, we’d love to hear from you. We will also consider individuals coming from a paralegal background.
Role Responsibilities:
Contractual Documentation & Legal Support
- Own the development and continuous improvement of employment documentation across multiple jurisdictions.
- Partner with recruitment, benefits, and legal teams to ensure templates and contracts meet local regulations and global standards.
Onboarding & Offboarding Excellence
- Shape and oversee onboarding and offboarding processes to deliver a seamless experience while maintaining compliance across diverse regions.
- Provide hands-on support for senior-level onboarding and internal promotions.
Background Screening & Social Media Compliance
- Manage vendor relationships for background checks and ensure robust compliance standards.
- Drive the implementation of new screening processes, including social media checks, and resolve escalations promptly.
Governance & Policy Management
- Advise on compliance matters such as absence tracking and working time regulations across EMEA.
- Lead annual policy reviews, maintain governance trackers, and partner with legal and payroll teams to address complex reporting challenges.
Strategic HR Projects & Expansion
- Contribute to global HR initiatives, from developing SOPs for new office openings to leading headcount analysis projects.
- Support the rollout of governance frameworks and offer letter processes across the region.
Key Experience Required:
- Extensive experience in HR governance and compliance within an international setting, including legal drafting.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and regulations across EMEA.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver solutions across multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
