Role Overview: We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a leading global player in the AI space. This remote, part-time contract role focuses on clarity and precision in technical communication. You will assist in training AI models to produce accurate, easy-to-understand technical documentation, tutorials, and explanations. Your goal is to ensure the AI can bridge the gap between complex technical data and user-friendly instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate AI-generated technical content (e.g., how-to guides, software documentation, troubleshooting steps) for accuracy and clarity.
- Simplify complex technical jargon into plain, accessible English without losing necessary detail or nuance.
- Test step-by-step instructions generated by the AI to ensure they are logical, complete, and strictly follow the correct order of operations.
- Write or rewrite technical summaries and documentation snippets to serve as high-quality training examples.
- Verify that technical terms, acronyms, and formatting (such as code blocks or data tables) are used correctly and consistently.
Qualifications:
- Experience or strong interest in technical writing, instructional design, or communicating complex information.
- Ability to translate difficult technical concepts into clear, concise, and structured text.
- Strong attention to detail, specifically regarding logical flow and factual precision.
- Familiarity with basic technical terminology or software documentation standards is a plus.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, managing time across multiple projects.
Location: Remote within United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Australia & New Zealand (You must be legally authorised to work in the country where you are based)
Compensation: $15 - $18 per hour based on location, experience, responsibilities, and performance.
