VAT Partner

Broadgate is looking for an VAT Partner in England

Job description

VAT Partner | United Kingdom

I’m working with an award-winning national advisory firm that’s looking to welcome an experienced VAT Partner to their team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and ambitious firm that continues to grow its reputation for technical excellence, commercial insight, and genuine client care. You’ll be stepping into a leadership role with the freedom to shape the firm’s indirect tax offering, influence strategy, and build lasting relationships across a diverse client base.

What the role involves

  • Leading the firm’s VAT service line — setting direction, driving growth, and ensuring technical quality.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients across a range of sectors, offering strategic and commercially focused VAT advice.
  • Building, mentoring, and inspiring a talented team — fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and curiosity.
  • Working closely with fellow Partners and Directors to identify new opportunities and deliver joined-up advisory solutions.
  • Playing a visible role in business development and representing the firm externally through networking, thought leadership, and industry engagement.

What we’re looking for

  • A senior VAT specialist with a strong track record in advisory, ideally at Director or Partner level.
  • Technically confident, commercially minded, and able to translate complex VAT matters into practical solutions.
  • A natural leader who enjoys developing people and building long-term client relationships.
  • Someone with the vision and drive to help shape a growing practice and contribute to firm-wide strategy.

Why this role?

You’ll be joining a respected, award-winning firm that values both technical excellence and personal connection. They’ve built a culture where entrepreneurial thinking is encouraged, and Partners are empowered to lead with autonomy and authenticity.

This is a genuine opportunity to make an impact — to lead a VAT team with ambition, influence growth, and be part of a leadership group that’s shaping the firm’s future.
