Win as a Team

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Surety Underwriter to join our new and exciting Surety Department on a hybrid basis. As an Assistant Surety Underwriter, you will have the opportunity to be part of a newly formed team launching a new product for Intact Insurance UK Limited. You will be working with selected brokers to optimise profitable growth from these brokers.

You’ll Make An Impact By

  • Providing support to Underwriters and Senior Underwriters on new Surety business
  • Building and maintaining excellent broker relationships through regular engagement
  • Applying pricing strategies and risk assessment techniques to drive sustainable profitable growth
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share insights and improve underwriting practices
  • Contributing to process improvements and supporting broker team ideas
  • Representing our brand at broker meetings, industry events and field visits as needed

Your Skills And Experience

  • Experience in Surety is essential
  • A sharp eye for detail and a head for strategy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with brokers
