Position: Tax Specialist (CPA/US Tax Lawyer)

Referral Partner: Crossing Hurdles

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $80–$120/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: Part-time (10–40 hours/week), fully remote and asynchronous

Duration: Minimum 1–2 months

Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided)

• Contribute tax expertise to build high-quality data for training and evaluating advanced language models
• Write and review tax rubrics, analyze legal tax concepts, and provide feedback on model outputs
• Collaborate directly with AI researchers via private Slack channels
• Maintain confidentiality, data quality, and rigorous compliance with project documentation standards

Required Qualifications

• JD/LLM from a top university
• CPA certification
• Demonstrated tax specialization and professional experience in US tax law
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience in rubric writing and quality assurance for legal or tax content
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytic ability
