Position: Video Captioning – Optimal Character Recognition (OCR) Expert

Referral Partner: Crossing Hurdles

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $35/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Identify and write out all visible text elements appearing in short videos with precise transcription accuracy.
• Timestamp each textual element with corresponding start and end times.
• Follow structured guidelines and formatting rules to ensure high-quality, consistent outputs.
• Review and validate extracted text to ensure completeness and correctness.

Requirements

• Strong experience in annotation, data labeling, or related content evaluation work.
• Excellent English writing skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Familiarity with multimedia content such as social media clips, tutorials, or documentaries.
