Job description

A leading UK law firm is looking to add an IP Transactions Lawyer to its top-tier commercial & IP offering. The firm is widely regarded for advising major corporates on complex, high-value transactions and continuing to invest in areas where IP, technology and innovation sit at the core of business strategy.

The team advises an impressive client base that includes listed companies, consumer brands, life sciences businesses, technology-led organisations and IP investors. There is a huge focus on growth within life sciences, AI and industrial sectors, offering scope to shape the future and direction of the practice.

The Work

This role offers exposure to a broad and varied workload, including:

• IP-heavy M&A and strategic commercial transactions
• Patent, know-how and technology licensing
• R&D and collaboration agreements
• IP acquisitions and disposals
• Software, distribution and franchise arrangements
• Advisory work alongside contentious IP specialists

About You

• Qualified lawyer with 3+ years’ PQE in IP transactions and advisory work
• Strong experience advising on patent, life sciences and technology agreements
• Confident managing transactions and client relationships
• Commercial, strategic and solutions-focused in approach
• Comfortable working to tight deadlines across multiple workstreams
