Position: Cricket Expert (Fans, Journalist, Commentator, etc.)

Referral Partner: Crossing Hurdles

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $57–$66/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week


Role Responsibilities:

  • Watch live or recorded cricket matches and evaluate AI-generated play-by-play commentary and post-game analysis.
  • Assess the accuracy, depth, and insight of AI outputs related to match events, player performance, and game strategy.
  • Rate the quality, clarity, and entertainment value of AI-driven cricket coverage.
  • Identify factual errors, weak interpretations, or stylistic inconsistencies in AI insights.
  • Provide clear, structured written feedback highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with analysts and developers to improve AI cricket reasoning, storytelling, and realism.


Requirements:

  • Strong experience and deep understanding of cricket, gained through playing, coaching, commentating, journalism, or dedicated fandom.
  • Ability to analyze cricket strategies, match narratives, and player performance with contextual accuracy.
  • Strong written English communication skills to articulate detailed and nuanced feedback.
  • Comfort using online tools, dashboards, and digital evaluation interfaces.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
