Structured Finance Associate – CLO Focus (3+ PQE) – Leading International Law Firm

Are you a finance lawyer with experience in CLOs or structured finance, looking to specialise in one of the most dynamic and fast-evolving areas of the market? I’m recruiting on behalf of a top-tier international law firm seeking a talented associate to join its market-leading Derivatives & Structured Products team in London.

About the Team:

This team is widely recognised as a leader in structured finance and derivatives, advising the world’s top financial institutions and funds on complex, cross-border transactions. The practice is known for its innovation, legal creativity, and ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions in volatile markets.

The Role:

You will:

• Lead and manage CLO transactions from inception to completion, including new issuances, resets, and refinancings
• Advise on structuring, negotiation, and execution of deals, often involving multi-jurisdictional elements
• Draft and review a wide range of legal documentation with precision and commercial insight
• Provide strategic advice to clients, delivering tailored solutions to complex problems
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas and international offices
• Stay abreast of market developments and contribute to thought leadership
• Support business development and client relationship initiatives
• Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the team’s knowledge base

About You:

• England & Wales qualified solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE in structured finance, CLOs, securitisation, or fund finance
• Experience managing complex transactions and working with leading financial institutions
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• Commercially astute, collaborative, and intellectually curious
• Motivated to specialise in CLOs and contribute to a high-performing, globally integrated team
