Technical Resourcing Specialist (Nearshore/Offshore – SOW Delivery)
TRIBES is looking for an Technical Resourcing Specialist (Nearshore/Offshore – SOW Delivery) in United Kingdom
Job description
Remote | UK/EU timezone overlap preferred
Salary: £40,000–£60,000 (DOE)
Tribes is a remote-first digital delivery business with a global network of DevCheck®-vetted engineers. We deliver statement-of-work (SOW) builds and managed teams for international clients — and resourcing is at the heart of how we win and deliver.
We’re hiring a specialist technology resourcer who can consistently source and mobilise nearshore/offshore engineers for delivery. This is not a generalist recruitment role.
- Own end-to-end resourcing for client opportunities and delivery teams (nearshore/offshore).
- Build and maintain pipelines across core stacks: React, Node, Python, Java, .NET, Mobile, QA, DevOps, Data.
- Actively source and engage high-quality engineers (not just manage inbound).
- Run structured screening: stack fit, seniority calibration, communication, timezone overlap, availability, rate alignment.
- Ensure candidates complete DevCheck® and meet Tribes quality bar before being presented.
- Produce clear job specs with Delivery/CTO: must-haves, deal-breakers, interview plan, assessment steps.
- Support Commercial with availability, rate benchmarks, feasibility input, and team composition options for SOW proposals.
- Negotiate terms with developers (day/hourly rates, start dates, engagement model basics).
- Own onboarding: documentation, compliance admin, platform setup, and early engagement to reduce drop-off.
- Keep CRM/talent systems accurate and organised (stages, notes, tags, stack, rate, availability, outcomes).
- Feed insights to improve our platform and resourcing processes (templates, scorecards, workflows).
- Support developer community engagement (updates, comms, occasional events/hackathons).
- 3+ years recruiting/sourcing software engineers (agency, internal, RPO, delivery partner, or freelance resourcing).
- Demonstrable experience recruiting nearshore/offshore engineers across multiple regions.
- Experience supporting SOW / fixed-price delivery teams (not only perm hiring).
- Strong technical literacy: can confidently discuss stacks, roles, and seniority signals.
- Commercial confidence: rates, delivery constraints, trade-offs, and candidate management.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong organisation and pace — you keep pipelines moving and data clean.
- Experience in a software agency / consultancy / studio environment.
- Familiarity with structured technical vetting, scorecards, and quality control.
- Awareness of contract models and delivery ways of working (no legal expertise required).
- You’re a generalist recruiter moving across non-tech sectors.
- Your background is mainly perm hiring without delivery-team mobilisation.
- You rely on inbound applicants rather than active sourcing and pipeline building.
- Fully remote, global team with real autonomy.
- Central role in delivery outcomes — high visibility and real ownership.
- Influence tooling and process, including the evolution of DevCheck® workflows.
- Progression opportunity as the function scales.
Please include your CV plus short answers to:
- Which nearshore/offshore regions have you recruited from, and what stacks?
- Example of a SOW delivery team you mobilised: roles, timeframe, and how you assessed quality.
- What channels have worked best for you in the last 12 months (and why)?
