Our client is a PE-Backed Logistics Unicorn that are strengthening their group transformation capability as it continues to scale across multiple European markets. This role has been created to bridge central strategy and on-site operations, ensuring performance improvements are not only designed but embedded where they matter most. You’ll play a pivotal part in shaping how operational data, standards and improvement initiatives translate into measurable results across a complex, multi-site environment.
The business operates an established international network of operational sites, each with strong local leadership and a reputation for reliability and service quality. The Operational Excellence Lead will act as the key link between group teams and operational leaders, driving consistent performance improvement across sites, regions and countries.
The Operational Excellence Lead will…
– Own and drive the end-to-end operational improvement cycle, from data capture through to delivery
– Develop and enhance KPI frameworks to give clear visibility of performance at site, regional and group level
– Translate insight into prioritised action plans with regional and site leadership teams
– Lead engagement through reporting, communications, training sessions and performance forums
– Challenge existing standards and targets to ensure they remain realistic, relevant and continuously improving
The Operational Excellence Lead will…
– Bring proven experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement or transformation roles
– Be confident working with data, performance metrics and operational reporting
– Have experience influencing senior operational stakeholders across multiple locations
– Demonstrate the ability to connect operational improvements to financial outcomes and value creation
– Be comfortable working across functions including operations, finance, IT and solution design
