Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Social Head of Copy to take day-to-day ownership of social copy across multiple platforms for a globally recognised beauty brand. You'll lead the tone of voice on social, create engaging, social-first conversations, and help grow highly engaged communities through sharp, creative, performance-driven copy.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the creation of compelling, on-brand social copy and scripts across all key social platforms, from teaser to launch and repurposing.
- Set and elevate the social tone of voice, ensuring consistency across all channels.
- Ideate and deliver standout written work that keeps the brand at the forefront of social trends and conversation.
- Manage senior stakeholders to translate wider business needs into effective, social-first copy.
- Own scriptwriting for founder-led social content, campaign activations and on-set capture.
- Deliver long- and short-form copy for captions, stories, scripts, performance marketing ads, on-set content and internal presentations.
- Work across multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising effectively to meet tight deadlines.
- Lead and support the social copy team in a fast-paced environment.

Skills & Experience

- Strong social copywriting background with significant experience in beauty or luxury fashion shown on a portfolio.
- Proven experience scriptwriting for social live activations and performance marketing ads.
- Confident working on set, adapting scripts and copy in real time.
- Experience managing and mentoring a team.
- Strong understanding of social trends and how to adapt trending language for brand use.
- Ability to write across different tones of voice while maintaining brand consistency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
