What to expect
The Head of Identity & Access Management is a senior member of the CISO team, responsible for the development and delivery of functional strategies, always role modelling the Post Office behaviours and demonstrating a Postmaster first mindset.
The Head of Identity & Access Management will lead the strategic direction, delivery, and continuous improvement of our Identity & Access Management (IAM) capabilities. They will ensure our IAM platform supports business objectives, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation, while providing an excellent user experience for all users. They will drive a culture of inclusion, continuous improvement, and high performance in the teams they lead, delivering and driving decision-making across the Business, Customers and Partners.

What you’ll need to succeed
- Demonstrable experience leading large teams: collaborating with senior leaders, to shape and deliver functional strategy to achieve business objectives.
- Substantial experience convening multiple stakeholders and through successful relationships, leading key cross-functional projects to drive results across the organisation.
- Experience in leading and driving change aligned to functional and business strategies.
- Extensive experience in identity and access management, cybersecurity, or related fields.
- Demonstrable experience in managing multiple market leading IAM platforms (such as PingOne AIC, Entra ID) and associated integrations with cloud and enterprise applications.
- Experience in large, complex organisations or regulated industries is an advantage.
- An expert advisor with ability to apply advanced knowledge of identity and access management specialism as well as broad knowledge of related areas.
