Job Title: Energy & Environmental Services (EES) Asset Recovery Operative


Reporting To: Division Manager


Location: Remote


Contract Type: Permanent


Job Type: Full-Time


Role Summary:

This role offers a variety of opportunities covering a variety of sectors from power generation to telecoms, no day will be the same.

You will benefit from close working relationships with your peers as well as Project Managers and Site Supervisors who hold market leading knowledge to support learning and development.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Working to a high safety standard.
  • Representing the business in a professional manner, at all times.
  • Identifying & logging assets through inventory management, on-site records and investigation.
  • Utilsing technology to establish in scope equipment and updating records.
  • Working individually or as part of a team to recover identified assets.
  • Moving in scope kit from generators to telecoms equipment onto appropriate transport.
  • Disassembling plant and equipment into right sized manageable elements.
  • Liaising with clients professionally.


More advanced training is available (after successful 3 month probation period).

Qualifications & Training

  • CSCS/CCNSG Cards (essential)
  • IPAF (desirable)
  • Confined space training (desired)
  • COSHH awareness (essential)
  • Fork lift (desired)
  • IOSH (desired)


Experience

  • Practical experience working tools & machinery (essential)
  • Able to work at heights (desired)
  • Physically fit, manual handling involved (essential)
  • Driving Licence (essential)
  • Ability to work within a team or as an individual (essential)
  • Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) (essential)
  • Ability to use ICT systems.
