Ramp Handler

Job description

The Ramp Handler is responsible for all ground handling tasks associated with airside Helicopter operations in accordance with regulation and company policies.

Main purpose is to provide safe and efficient ground operations and ramp handling services for NHV aircraft. You’ll be working under the supervision of the Service Delivery Lead Aberdeen.

Responsibilities and areas

·         Assisting Aircraft start ups

·         Assisting in Refuel of aircraft

·         Daily checks of equipment

·         Conduct ramp and FOD checks

·         Engineering assistance as and when required – component cleaning, grease gun filling etc.

·         Movement and towing of aircraft.

·         Up keep of aircraft appearance internal and external of aircraft.

·         General hangar/ramp duties

·         Loading and Unloading of passenger baggage/Freight into aircraft

·         Any other reasonable duties as directed by Supervisor / Team Leader

·         Be familiar with all aspects of the company policies

·         Promote company values

Skills & experience

·         At least 1 year of aviation and relevant operational experience-desirable

·         Languages: professional level of English (understanding – speaking – writing)

·         Be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg
