About The Job
Kroll Bond Rating Agency UK Limited (KBRA) is seeking an intern to join its CMBS group. The intern will have the opportunity to gain firsthand experience in the role of a credit rating agency analyst including how commercial real estate (CRE) is evaluated and how ratings decisions are formed. The role offers valuable analytical, technical, and professional experience applicable across financial services and corporate environments. We are looking for a candidate who will thrive in a dynamic environment where analytical skills and effective multitasking are essential.
Key Job Requirements
- Support analysts in building detailed cash flow analyses of CRE properties.
- Assist in monitoring key performance indicators for CRE loans.
- Contributes to the preparation of transaction reports, internal memoranda and research materials.
- Provide general support for KBRA’s credit analysts.
- Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets and databases.
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity is a plus
- To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the UK, and should not require sponsorship (current or future) for employment visa status.
- Be on track to achieve, or have already achieved, a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent)

- Commercial real estate experience a plus.
- Graduate concentration in finance or economics.
- Strong Excel skills. You must be able to easily manipulate and format data sets.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy.
- Effective verbal, written and presentation skills are essential.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity is a plus
