Blue Diamond Recruitment is proud to be supporting a top 10 UK house builder as they continue to grow and strengthen their Technical Team within their Midlands region.
Our client is a well-established, forward-thinking house builder with a national presence and a strong commitment to delivering quality homes and creating sustainable communities.
An opportunity has become available for a Technical Administrator to join a busy and collaborative Technical Team on a full time, permanent basis.
Reporting directly to the Technical Director, this role will act as a central hub for the Technical function, supporting the team with essential administration, coordination and document control.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the main point of contact for Planning and NHBC portals
- Coordinating and maintaining the invoice tracking system and document management system to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Producing weekly technical workload updates and team meeting notes, ensuring actions are clearly recorded and distributed
- Providing administrative support to the Technical Team, including invoice processing, typing correspondence and maintaining filing systems
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the Technical Department through a proactive and organised approach
This position would suit an experienced Administrator who is highly organised, proactive and confident in a fast-paced environment.
Essential skills and experience:
- Proven administrative experience, ideally within a busy office or technical environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of computer literacy, particularly in MS Office
- A flexible, agile approach with a positive, can-do attitude
- Collaborative and supportive, with the ability to work effectively as part of a wider team
Desirable:
- Previous experience within house building, construction or a related industry would be advantageous
