We are an Anti-bullying charity registered in the UK and Italy. We help targets of bullying through support, prevention, and research cooperation. We aim to create safe environments, provide anti-bullying programs, counselling, legal support, and telephone support for those in need.

We are an Anti-bullying charity. Our aim is to help those who are targets of bullying through support and prevention and cooperation with university neuroscience research departments. Your role will massively contribute to the engagement of those supporting our work, spread awareness and enable us to scale our impact even further. It’s safe to say that this role is both challenging and highly rewarding, helping us to achieve our vision and promote awareness of bullying.
What are we looking for?

- Prior experience in web design and development, with a portfolio of previous work (either paid or volunteer).
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch) and front-end development tools (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Wix, or custom CMS solutions. Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and UX/UI principles.
- Skills Strong visual design skills, with a keen eye for detail, layout, typography, and colour.
- Ability to translate Charity goals and vision into an intuitive, engaging web experience.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and web performance optimisation. Basic understanding of web hosting, security protocols, plug ins and domain management.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with non-technical staff.
- A passion for design and willingness to volunteer time and skills to a meaningful cause.
- Self-motivation and the ability to manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Access to necessary software and tools for web design and development.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc.) ,Figma, or Sketch other design tools.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, for building dynamic web pages.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g. React, Angular, Vue).
- Experience with responsive web design principles and techniques.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating high-quality, engaging user experiences.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of web design projects.
- Ability to write clean, well-documented code and collaborate with the development team.
- Experience with UI/UX design principles, Graphic design, Database / CRM development, and Software and web development.
- Understanding of SEO best practices.
Web Designer – Role Overview
As the Web Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping charity’s online presence. By creating intuitive, visually compelling digital experiences, you will help us communicate our mission, engage supporters, and drive donations and volunteer involvement. Your work will directly support the expansion of our reach and strengthen our impact within the local community.
Key Duties
- Ensure the website follows best practices for search engine optimisation (SEO) to increase visibility and discoverability.
- Collaborate closely with team members to understand objectives, content requirements, and the organisation’s visual identity.
- Implement essential website security measures, including SSL certificates and secure login procedures.
- Identify and resolve bugs or technical issues before and after launch.
- Support the launch process to ensure a smooth and successful transition to the live environment.
- Work directly with a team of web developers, providing design input for new website builds and updates.
- Design and create visually engaging websites that align with organisational guidelines and branding.
- Collaborate with the Events Team, developers, video creators, and other stakeholders to produce functional and user-friendly designs.
- Translate design concepts into responsive, mobile-first layouts and user interfaces.
- Stay informed on the latest web design trends, tools, and best practices.
- Continuously refine and update existing websites to maintain a modern, consistent user experience.
- Build reusable HTML/CSS templates and UI components.
- Optimise page performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues efficiently.
- Work with WordPress and maintain familiarity with its themes, plugins, and customisation tools.
