PIB Group is looking for a Social Media Assistant. PIB Group is the fastest growing insurance intermediary group in the UK having completed 9 acquisitions in a little over one year. The group has grown from 50 employees to 750 in the past 18 months.

What are you going to do:

We're looking for someone who is well organised, digital savvy, strong communicator with a sound knowledge of social media marketing skills.

The candidate will work within our marketing and communications team and focus initially on our LinkedIn strategy. PIB Group is primarily providing business insurance advice to companies and LinkedIn is the primary social media marketing platform in our market. The candidate will help to refine our LinkedIn strategy and play a leading role in research, campaign & content creation, execution, monitoring and reporting. The goal is to help our client facing employees build their profile as experts within their specialist markets.This is a new area of activity for PIB Group and the candidate will be key to testing and refining activities as we determine what works and what doesn’t.

· Experience of using social networking channels
· Experience and / or strong knowledge of social media marketing – LinkedIn specifically advantageous
· Strong writing and communication skills
· Studying or studied a degree in a relevant subject - marketing, digital marketing, journalism particularly helpful

    Work & liaising within an existing small team

    Identify opportunities to target specific market sectors where PIB has demonstrable expertise

    Create plans and find, create and edit content

    Create engaging and professional visuals

    Monitor activities and results

    Analyse and report social media actions on a monthly basis

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

    Experience of using social networking channels

    Experience and / or strong knowledge of social media marketing – LinkedIn specifically advantageous

    Strong writing and communication skills

    Studying or studied a degree in marketing, digital marketing, journalismparticularly helpful
