  • Friday – 8am – 4pm

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to join our team as the primary instore representative, building strong relationships with retail partners to drive distribution, availability, execution, and sales growth, while feeding valuable insights back into the wider business.

This role is home-based, due to the extent of travel required. The ideal candidate will be based in Birmingham, Coventry or Leicester or surrounding areas.


Key responsibilities include:

Sales Growth

Achieve agreed revenue targets for assigned accounts or regions. Deliver year-on-year growth in key retail channels.

Distribution Expansion Increase

Drive range, space, and stock improvements by increasing distribution, availability, and shelf presence, identifying new listing opportunities, and advising on store-relevant product ranges.

Merchandising Excellence

Ensure excellent in-store execution, with products correctly merchandised to planograms and promotional displays, priced, and presented to Evolution standards, supporting seasonal changes, NPD, branded fixtures and POS implementation.

Promotional Execution

Deliver successful promotional campaigns (seasonal offers, bundles, etc.). Track ROI on promotions and optimise for future campaigns.

Relationship Management

Serve as the main point of contact for stores, building strong working relationships with Store Managers, Shift Leads & Retail Buyers and championing the brand in-store.

Training & Product Knowledge

Conduct training sessions for retail staff to improve product knowledge. Ensure teams understand key selling points and upselling opportunities.

Market Intelligence

Monitor competitor activity and pricing strategies. Provide feedback to marketing and product teams for continuous improvement.

Digital & Omni-Channel Growth

Support online retail initiatives (e-commerce listings, content optimisation). Drive integration between physical and digital retail experiences.

Compliance & Standards

Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and retail standards. Maintain accurate reporting and documentation for audits.

KPI Tracking

Regularly report on sales performance, stock levels, and promotional impact. Use data to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.


Experience and Skills Required

Essential:

• A highly motivated self-starter

• A collaborative and professional approach

• A problem solver capable of delivering sound logical arguments

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Demonstrable numeracy and analytical skills

• Full UK driving licence

• Ability and willingness to travel

• Ability to work flexibly

Desirable:

• Previous sales experience would be advantageous

• Interest in power tools
