Mane Contract Services is looking for a Procurement Assistant
Job description
The Procurement Assistant is responsible for:
Actively supports the Engineering & Quality functions for expediting of critical documentation.
- Coordinates with relevant internal functions any supplier deviation requests from specifications (NCP), assessing the effect thereof on achieving Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost (SQDC) targets.
- process the NC in the appropriate tool and maintain smart sheets
- Coordinate all NCP/NCR and ensure that material is returned to the Supplier in a timely manner
- Assist the Procurement Lead in expediting the return of repaired components
- Shall support Sourcing team for claim management COPQ in case of supplier delays or Quality issues.
- Will support the Sourcing team for issuing Contractual Letters to Suppliers in accordance to Quality issues.
- Responsible for completing the Import Process on-line for all Imports where GE is responsible for customs clearance.
Desired profile:
- Minimum 1-3 years in a Procurement / Purchasing role (Direct materials)
- Understanding of Logistics, preferably in imports
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software (SAP)
- Commercial awareness (Pay Terms, Warranty, LD’s)
