Retail Manager
Andersen James Group is looking for a Retail Manager
Job description
We’ve partnered with a bustling mixed-use shopping centre to appoint a Retail Manager - a hands-on, people-facing role supporting day-to-day operations and acting as the key point of contact for occupiers, contractors, and internal teams.
If you enjoy problem-solving, keeping things organised, and building strong relationships with retailers, this role sits right at the heart of site operations.
What You’ll Lead On
- Being the front-line contact for retail occupiers, handling day-to-day queries, operational issues and requests with a professional and solutions-focused approach
- Coordinating contractor access, works and deliveries in line with site procedures, whilst ensuring smooth communication between occupiers, managing agents and service partners
- Supporting compliance and administration across the estate, including maintaining accurate records, documentation, health & safety information, RAMS and permits to work
- Managing key reporting and communications activity, including monthly occupier updates, newsletters, income reporting processes, and supporting financial queries / purchase orders
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in a property, retail, leasing or administration role, with the confidence to manage stakeholder queries and maintain high standards of service
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple moving parts and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes
- Clear written and verbal communication, comfortable producing occupier communications, coordinating information, and building strong working relationships
- Solid technical admin capability, including Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and confidence picking up systems, processes, reporting and invoicing workflows
What You’ll Get
- A highly visible, on-site role with real responsibility and variety across a busy mixed-use environment
- The opportunity to work closely with occupiers, contractors and centre management, becoming a trusted point of contact and key part of the operation
- A role that blends stakeholder management, compliance, reporting and coordination - ideal for someone who likes structure, pace, and problem-solving
- A stable and supportive environment with long-term scope to develop within property operations and centre management
