We are currently recruiting for Technical Operatives to join our Production team at our Rathbones Bakery manufacturing site in Wakefield.
This job will require you to work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern; the shifts are 12 hours in length, and consist of 2 day shifts followed by 2 night shifts.
Requirements of the Job
As Technical Operative you will report into the Team Manager within Production. You will be responsible for running the Production line, ensuring KPI’s are measured and achieved, if KPI’s are not achieved you will put a plan in place to drive actions to achieve the KPI’s. You will also be responsible for driving quality at site whilst ensuring Health & Safety guidelines are followed. Additionally you will provide regular communication to the team, notifying them of business changes, daily task requirements and engaging the team in the quality agenda.

About our Rathbones Manufacturing Site
Our current production at Rathbones contains 5 plants but this will soon to rise to 7 plants. We currently produce 1,200,000 sliced loaves, 1,000,000 baguettes, 2,000,000 rolls, 600,000 muffins per week!! The new build will house our Naan, Pitta and Crumpet lines! We have over approx 40SKUs and we are the only bakery in the Morrisons family.
