Angular JS Developer in Bradford

As part of this we're growing our digital teams with a variety of new roles including that of an Angular JS Developer.

As an Angular JS Developer. you'll be delivering applications that are quick to build and easy to change using the best emerging technologies. You'll be working with a variety of stakeholders in our fast paced retail environment. 

What will you do in the role of an Angular Developer at Morrisons?

• Build prototypes proof of concepts
• Create progressive and responsive applications
• Build maintainable applications

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need to be a success in the role?

• Strong JavaScript knowledge - TypeScript recommended. Minimum ES6. 
• Strong Angular 2+ knowledge
• Angular-cli knowledge
• Knowledge of Gulp and Webpack
• Basic knowledge of RESTful services
• Experience using testing libraries – mainly Jasmine
• Ability to understand core concepts of Single Page Applications - be framework agnostic
• Ability to plan work using Agile methodologies
  

It would be beneficial to also have these things (but is not essential) ; 

• Ability to implement backend services in Node/ Java / C#
• Understanding of HTTP / Web sockets
• Knowledge of Angular Universal or Server side rendering to resolve common performance issues and aid Search Engine Optimization
• Experience leading projects, prioritising user requests, and working to development best practices
