About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site QA Officer to join our team at our Lutterworth facility. This role is critical to ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance within our pharmaceutical distribution operations, maintaining compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and other regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in upholding quality standards, managing quality processes, and supporting continuous improvement in our warehouse operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with GDP and other relevant regulations.
  • Conduct investigations and manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to address non-conformances.
  • Handle deviations, ensuring thorough documentation, root cause analysis, and resolution.
  • Support change control processes, including assessing and documenting changes to procedures, systems, or equipment.
  • Perform internal audits and support external audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in quality processes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of QA activities, ensuring traceability and compliance.
  • Contribute to training staff on quality procedures and GDP requirements.
  • Monitor and report on quality performance metrics to management.


Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, ideally within pharmaceutical distribution (GDP). Candidates with QA experience in other industries will be considered if they have demonstrable experience with CAPA, deviations, and change control processes.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to conduct investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Consistent work history with a demonstrated commitment to previous roles (candidates with frequent job changes will not be considered).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel) for documentation and reporting purposes.


Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) within pharmaceutical warehousing.
  • Experience with internal and external audits.
  • Familiarity with quality management software or systems.


Location and Work Arrangement

  • This role is based at our Tamworth facility.
  • The position is fully on-site, with no remote or hybrid working options available.
