About the Role



Join our friendly, supportive team as a Youth / Residential Support Worker, helping young people feel safe, valued, and supported as they build confidence and life skills. Responsibilities



  • Support and care for young people in a residential setting
  • Be a consistent, positive adult role model
  • Help develop confidence, independence, and everyday life skills
  • Take part in activities and daily routines
  • Work as part of a professional, supportive team


Qualifications



  • Aged 21+ (legal requirement)


Required Skills



  • Caring, patient, and resilient
  • Comfortable with an active role (training provided)
  • Reliable and motivated to support young people


Preferred Skills



  • Experience in care or safeguarding is welcome but not essential.


Pay range and compensation package



  • £26,210 – £29,801 salary (including shift allowance)
  • £2,000 annual retention bonus
  • Additional sleep‑in allowance
  • Full training & induction – no experience needed
  • Ongoing career development and support
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Stable, set shifts for better work–life balance
  • Shift Pattern: Fixed shifts: 7:30am–4:30pm or 1:00pm–10:00pm, Alternate weekends off
