Subscription Sales Executive - B2B Sports Media
Location: Central London (Hybrid)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE + uncapped commission
Ark Recruitment are working exclusively with a fast-growing B2B sports media & events business to hire a Subscription Sales Executive to join their commercial team. This is a key hire for the business and a great opportunity for someone who has started to build their career around selling subscription-led products in media or SaaS.
The Opportunity
This role sits at the heart of the company’s recurring revenue strategy. You’ll be responsible for driving new subscription sales while also retaining, reactivating, and growing existing or lapsed accounts.
You’ll work closely with the Partnerships and Delegate Sales teams to identify clients who are already engaged with the brand and convert them into long-term subscription customers. The focus is on building trust, delivering value, and closing annual (and multi-year) subscription agreements.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Selling B2B subscription products within the sports media space
- Owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close and renewal
- Closing annual subscription deals with brands, agencies, rights holders, sports organisations and any B2B business associated to the sports industry.
- Prospecting new business, cold outreach & managing and growing a portfolio of existing and lapsed accounts
- Collaborating with Partnerships and Delegate Sales teams to identify upsell opportunities
- Negotiating tailored subscription packages to meet client needs
- Using CRM tools to manage pipeline, forecasting, and renewals
- Building long-term client relationships and positioning yourself as a trusted partner
Who we’re looking for
- At least 18 months’ experience selling B2B subscriptions in media or SaaS
- Proven ability to close annual subscription deals
- Confident negotiating and structuring subscription packages
- Comfortable balancing new business with account retention and growth
- Ambitious, autonomous, and proactive in your approach
- Creative with outreach and relationship-building
- Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders
- Open to industry sector experience, however a keen interest in B2B sport is a must
What’s On Offer
- Up to £45,000 base salary (DOE)
- Uncapped commission
- Hybrid working: 2 days onsite in Victoria, London / 3 days WFH
