Sales Admin Team Leader

Location: Reading (100% office‑based)

Salary: up to £30,000

Contract: Full‑time, permanent

We're seeking a hands‑on, organised Team Leader to support and motivate our Sales Administration team, ensuring smooth, accurate end‑to‑end order processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a busy Sales Admin team; set priorities, clear blockers and maintain productivity.
• Oversee full order lifecycle: validate orders, update systems, coordinate with suppliers/logistics, and confirm dispatch.
• Act as a key contact for clients and suppliers, handling queries professionally.
• Track KPIs (accuracy, turnaround time, on‑time delivery) and recommend process improvements.
• Train and coach colleagues; manage rotas and ensure consistent service levels.
• Maintain accurate CRM/ERP records and escalate issues proactively.

What You’ll Bring

• Team leadership experience (formal or informal).
• Order processing experience in a product/distribution environment.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Confident using MS Office and CRM/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Sage, Dynamics, etc.).
• High attention to detail and calm under pressure.

Bonus Skills

• Experience refining workflows/SOPs.
• Excel reporting (lookups, pivots).
• Familiarity with SLAs in fulfilment/logistics.
