We’re Hiring: Stores Operative – HPC UK

With a strong order book and long-term projects secured, Boccard UK is actively hiring to support our ambitious growth and expansion strategy.


We’re looking for a proactive and organised Stores Operative to support our manufacturing and logistics activities at HPC UK. If you enjoy working in a hands‑on environment, keeping things running smoothly, and being a key part of a busy engineering team, this could be a great fit.


What You’ll Do

- Work closely with the management team to ensure stock levels meet operational needs

- Issue tooling and materials to tradespeople

- Prepare materials for steel pipe support fabrication

- Manage goods in/out with accuracy and attention to detail

- Maintain strong administration to reduce stock errors

- Support continuous improvement initiatives

- Keep the stores area safe, tidy, and compliant

- Drive the company van to collect and deliver goods

- Assist with training colleagues where competent

- Carry out PAT testing, equipment calibration checks, and ensure correct storage of welding consumables.


What You’ll Bring

Essential:

- Experience in engineering stores management

- CCNSG or similar H&S accreditation

- Good IT skills (Windows-based systems)

- Full UK driving licence


Desirable:

- PAT testing certification

- FLT certification

- Basic procurement knowledge


Location & Working Pattern

- HPC UK site-based role

- 10/4 rotation


You’ll work closely with the Logistics Manager and build strong relationships across the business, as well as with suppliers and partners.
