Sales & Events Manager
Vibrant and dynamic events venue
London, UK
£37-40,000 salary plus bonus and benefits
We’re working with a growing, people-first hospitality business creating vibrant and dynamic spaces and experiences that bring people together.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, commercially minded Sales & Events Manager to own a venue’s sales pipeline and events delivery, from first enquiry through to guest follow-up and play a key role in driving profitable bookings and memorable experiences.
Reporting day-to-day to the General Manager (with a dotted line into the Sales & Marketing Director), you’ll be responsible for converting enquiries into high-quality events, building repeat business and acting as a visible ambassador in the local market.
Your mission is simple: drive revenue, enhance guest experience, and build long-term relationships, all while keeping standards high and operations aligned.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Owning the venue’s inbound and proactive sales pipeline (corporate, private hire, group bookings and events)
- Responding to enquiries quickly, warmly and professionally
- Qualifying enquiries thoroughly and building tailored, margin-protective proposals
- Driving conversion through confident pricing, upselling and clear next steps
- Building key accounts and repeat bookers to generate predictable revenue
- Proactively sourcing new leads via networking, local outreach and partnerships
- Acting as a local brand ambassador at networking events, showcases and industry meet-ups
- Planning and delivering events end-to-end, ensuring seamless handover to Operations
- Being the primary client contact pre-event and during key moments where required
- Leading post-event follow-up to drive reviews, referrals and repeat bookings
- Using CRM systems with discipline: accurate pipelines, forecasting and reporting
- Collaborating closely with Marketing, Operations and fellow venue teams
What success looks like
- A healthy, well-managed sales pipeline with accurate forecasting
- Strong enquiry response times and high conversion rates
- Increased repeat business through great relationships and aftercare
- Seamless event delivery with no surprises for guests or operations
- Clear visibility on performance, opportunities and risks
- Consistent contribution to filling quieter trading periods
About you
- Experience in hospitality sales and events (multi-site a plus)
- Confident managing enquiries, pricing and proposals end-to-end
- Commercially sharp with a strong eye on margin and upsell
- Highly organised, calm under pressure and great with people
- Comfortable networking and building relationships in the local market
- Collaborative, proactive and detail-oriented
Closing date for applications: Friday 20th February 2026
Please note, owing to significant interest in roles we advertise and to ensure a fair and consistent process, all applications will be reviewed and responded to via LinkedIn post-closing date.
