Job description

Work with a leading civil engineering contractor delivering essential water infrastructure upgrades. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team on a flagship water treatment project, supporting the delivery of critical works for a major utilities client.
Your new role
As a Contract Site Engineer, you will:

  • Set out and survey works, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
  • Support the site management team with technical input and day-to-day problem-solving.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are delivered to program and quality standards.
  • Maintain site records, as-built drawings, and inspection/test documentation.
  • Uphold health & safety standards and contribute to a positive site culture.
  • Liaise with clients, designers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience as a Site Engineer on water treatment or heavy civils projects.
  • Strong setting out and surveying skills (Leica/Trimble preferred).
  • Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Proactive approach and attention to detail.
