We're looking for people to join the team in our outdoor lifestyle stores
The Brokedown Palace supplies stylish, long-lasting and ethical outdoor clothing and accessories. We have two London locations - in Shoreditch and Spitalfields, and an e-commerce store. Our prestigious brand list includes Fjällräven, the Swedish brand known for their iconic Kanken backpacks – which take up an entire wall in every colour. The American north west is represented by Pendleton, Poler Stuff and Filson while cult Californian outdoors brand Patagonia fits the concept perfectly. Not forgetting our UK roots, we also stock British brands Rab, Paramo and Finisterre. We are looking for experienced sales consultants to join our team. We are a small independent business, so there are plenty of opportunities to be creative and have your ideas heard.
What are you going to do:
Key Duties
- Providing a friendly and knowledgeable service to our customers in-store and online
- Keeping the store clean and tidy
- Helping to create in-store displays
- Posting on our social media accounts
- Answering queries by email and phone
- Packaging online orders
- Listing products on our website
- Unpacking deliveries and updating our inventory

What we ask
- A-Levels
- Retail experience
- Have retail sales experience of at least one year
- Have an enthusiasm for, and knowledge of our products
- Be passionate about being in the outdoors - city or country
- Understand, and be aligned with our ethics and brand culture
- Be familiar with using social media/blogs - especially Instagram. Twitter, Facebook, Wordpress
- Experience of dealing with stockroom/deliveries would be useful
