About the role:
As a Junior Social Videographer Vlogger you will spend approximately half your time in-office assisting with post-production, editing, processing, and video delivery. The other half of your time will usually be spent on-location filming and being filmed. You will report to the Head of Video Production who will set your work schedule and help with your on-the-job training. The work is fast-paced and constantly evolving and will allow the right candidate to gain invaluable experience, improve their skills, push themselves – and have the chance to have their work seen by a global audience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Help with filming & interviewing both at our head office and at universities and events
- Creation of vlog-style videos
- Assist in the video editing process
- Aid in the creation of compelling and cutting-edge motion graphics
- Encoding and converting videos
- Adding effects to enhance motion graphics
- Take part in the production process and help select appropriate production media (video and audio footage) and materials
- Assist in the creation of video & animation scripts and storyboards

What we ask:
- Be in or have been to university
- 1+ years or equivalent of video vlogging, editing and motion graphics experience
- A self-starter with a passion about everything to do with video and with a keen willingness to learn
- The ideal candidate will preferably be an active vlogger – Equally comfortable in front of the camera as they are in operating one
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience with animated typography / kinetics and vector animation
- A portfolio with slick work that expresses skills in visual storytelling, editing and motion graphic
- Effective communication skills with ability to present ideas and communicate to project stakeholders
- Good team player
