Also included in the job role will be teaching communication and skills for life.
This is a fantastic opportunity to spend time with a young man with a great sense of humour, to gain an understanding of autism and how it affects young people and families and to receive ongoing training in effective teaching techniques for autism and related conditions.
Applicants should be able to commit to regular hours (hours can be arranged to suit your needs and schedule). Enthusiasm and patience are valued over qualifications, experience working with children, young people or those with learning disabilities would be beneficial but is not essential.
