We are currently looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our team based out on site in East Yorkshire. We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer (Electrical Bias) to support commissioning activities on a project. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing electrical commissioning activities to ensure systems are tested, energised, and handed over safely and in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

This is a site-based contract role requiring a proactive, safety-focused professional with strong technical expertise in electrical systems within heavy industrial environments.

Our ideal candidate will be Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification with proven commissioning experience within power generation, energy, or heavy industrial projects. A strong knowledge of HV/LV distribution systems and protection schemes and

familiarity with electrical testing equipment and commissioning best practices. You will have the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary site team with a strong understanding of permit-to-work systems and safe isolation procedures.
