Falcon Timber, part of Consolidated Timber Holdings Ltd (CTH) is a market leader supplying sustainable timber products to a broad range of customers mainly in the joinery and merchants markets across the UK and Ireland.

This role in our Technical sales team offers an exciting opportunity to further develop the portfolio of our most successful and profitable sales region.

And it’s a great time to join Falcon Timber and CTH as we deepen our presence and expand our reach into new customer groups who are seeking quality, innovation and market leading timber solutions.

The role

You will be meeting customers face to face across the Kent and West London region selling our full range of specialist industry leading timber products to end users and manufacturers to expand our presence across existing and target markets.

You will be responsible for driving revenue and customer engagement by delivering an exceptional knowledge led service specifically of Cedar, Larch, Thermally Modified Timber, Engineered Joinery, Veneers, Decorative Boards, Birch plywood and Fire Doors.

Your efforts will directly contribute to Falcon Timber’s reputation for excellence in customer satisfaction, responsiveness and product expertise.

  • Surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and margin targets.
  • Grow our customer base by actively identifying and converting new high-value prospects.
  • Enhance the customer experience by understanding individual customer needs and providing tailored, value-driven solutions.
  • Strengthen Falcon Timber’s market presence and reputation as a trusted and knowledgeable advisor in timber supply

The person

  • Proven experience in a Technical timber sales role gained within an end user/manufacturer environment
  • Possessing specialist knowledge / experience in selling Cedar, Larch, Thermally Modified Timber, Engineered Joinery, Veneers, Decorative Boards, Birch plywood and Fire Doors
  • Able to visit customers in person across the region and possesses a clean, full driving licence
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets and building long-term customer relationships
  • Ability to understand and respond to customer needs with tailored solutions
  • Familiarity with sales planning, pipeline management, and CRM tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Commercially aware with a good understanding of pricing, ROI, and market positioning
  • Self-starter with strong time management, organisational skills, and attention to detail
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative approach
