Staff Validation Engineer

IC Resources is looking for a Staff Validation Engineer

Job description

We are seeking a talented Staff Validation Engineer to join our fast-paced R&D team, driving the evaluation and testing of new products. You will work closely with design, product, test, and applications engineers to ensure our cutting-edge technology meets rigorous performance standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in new product design meetings and drive test feature development to support successful product evaluation.
  • Assist in designing validation solutions for new products, including software, hardware, and documentation.
  • Identify and specify bench-top test equipment for validating new products.
  • Develop test automation software using Python or LabVIEW.
  • Collaborate with designers, product, test, and applications engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Participate in validation review meetings and contribute to project decision-making.
  • Create detailed validation reports.
  • Test high-speed optical components, ICs, and modules.
  • Perform high-speed measurements on lab products operating at data rates of 10 Gbit/s and above.
  • Apply knowledge of high-speed signal integrity for schematic entry and layout using Altium PCB tools.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering / Electronics / ECE, or HNC/HND with 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure in a dynamic R&D environment.
  • Experience in Python or LabVIEW.
  • Previous experience in high speed validation
  • Knowledge of PCB Tools
