Technical Manager - Health & Safety - Manufacturing in Bradford

• Partner the Logistics function to provide expert health and safety advice; working collaboratively to ensure continuous improvement
• Build strong relationships with the logistics management teams to drive improvements in health & safety performance
• Assist with the development of health & safety improvement strategies within Logistics and contribute to the Group strategy
• Use a risk based approach to health & safety, identifying levels of controls which are appropriate in order to provide safe and legal conditions
• Escalate & co-ordinate serious health & safety concerns to all relevant stakeholders
• Provide professional investigation of  accidents, incidents  and whistleblower cases
• Produce reports, in a clear, concise and consistent format 

• • Minimum of 5 years experience in health & safety management
  • Experience working in a complex organisation with multiple stakeholders
  • Auditing and incident investigation management experience
  • Ability to engage with and coach colleagues at all levels to driveimprovements
  • Ability to influence business decisions that impact on health, safety and legality
