People Assistant (HR Assistant) in Derby

We’ve got a great job for a People Assistant (HR Assistant) at our Flowerworld Manufacturing site. Reporting to the People Advisor, you will provide people, payroll and administrative support to the People team. This is an ideal developmental role for somebody who is looking to progress their career within HR.

As a People Assistant (HR Assistant) you will be the first point of contact for foundation level site People queries, consistently providing excellent customer service.  You will be a subject matter expert on company HR policies, ensuring the site remains compliant at all times. You will support, coach and challenge line management with absence, disciplinary and grievance issues and will build effective and positive relationships.

Flower World is unique to Morrisons manufacturing as it is our only non-food producing site.

With over 300 florists, each and every bouquet is treated with care and consideration before it leaves site ensuring the best possible quality to our customers. Not only that but we also use specialized techniques to first check how our flowers are going to develop through their life and then to keep them at their very best.

Here we make over 400,000 bouquets per week using both hand tying methods and machinery; during peak periods such as Valentines and Mothers Day this increases significantly.
