We are currently looking for a new OCC Agent within the exciting world of aviation where the newly founded Thomas Cook Airlines Balearics company is operating short and mid-haul operations in close collaboration with the wider Thomas Cook Airlines/Condor Group. Reporting into the Director Flight Operations you as OCC Agent will be responsible to coordinate and supervise the normal activities of an airline´s OCC unit (both outsourced and insourced).


       Job Description

 

As OCC Agent, you will have following main responsibilities:

 

  • You will supervise and perform quality follow up processes for the Flight Watch and Dispatch providers;
  • You will supervise and perform quality follow up for the (internal and external) Crew Control contractor providers;
  • You will represent the Nominated Post Holder Ground Operations when required;
  • You will be required to represent the Director Flight Operations when needed;
  • You will participate in crisis meetings in case of irregular operations, including ad-hoc ACMI;
  • You will support the Safety Management System (SMS) activities and management;
  • You are ready to participate on Group Level OCC projects and activities.

 

All the above will be performed in close collaboration with the direct colleagues in Palma and the Thomas Cook Airlines Group.

 

        Profile

 

  • You have at least 3 years of ATC and Flight Dispatch experience;
  • You have at least 3 years of Ground Handling experience;
  • You have a sound knowledge of crewing principles and limitations;
  • You are educated in Aviation Security and Dangerous Goods Regulations;
  • You are familiar with the EASA regulatory environment;
  • You are able to perform within a multicultural team, under pressure situations and with flexible working time schedules;
  • You have a high level of Spanish and English language knowledge (read, written and spoken)
  • You will be required to have a high-level IT user skills (MS Office, etc.)
  • You have preferably knowledge of IATA SGHA;
  • You have preferably experience in using standard dispatch and airline management IT tools;
  • You are able to prepare, manage and report budgetary topics
