Account Executive

We are working with a growing insurance brokers based in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex, who are looking for an Account Executive to join their team.

About the Role

You will already be an established Account Executive, dealing with commercial insurances - particularly construction based clients. This role will have a strong focus on New Business, but with a stead stream of inbound leads within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with commercial insurances
• Focusing on New Business
• Managing inbound leads within the construction industry and prospecting new clients
• Engaging with clients on or off site, conducting detailed and thorough fact finds and ensuring they are receiving the correct coverage for their business
• Taking opportunities to upsell and cross sell to new and existing clients.
• Liaising with other brokers, insurers and underwriters.
• Dealing with the handling of your book including MTAs, renewals and claims

Required Skills

• Experience in commercial insurances - minimum 3 years as an Account Executive
• Strong focus on New Business including prospecting new clients.
• Confidence with negotiating with underwriters and insurers.
• Have a base knowledge of construction insurances, policies and industries.
• A strong understanding of how to fact find and provide complete policy coverage

Preferred Skills

• Experience with construction based clients
