Business Insights Analyst

West London (Office-based, 5 days per week)

A well-established FMCG food business is seeking a commercially curious and detail-oriented Business Insights Analyst to join its Head Office team in West London. This is a fully office-based role (5 days per week), offering free on-site parking and excellent exposure to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

The Opportunity

Working within the Business Insights function, you will support the end-to-end customer journey by transforming data into clear, actionable commercial insight. Partnering closely with Sales and Finance, you will play a key role in driving customer performance, improving reporting standards, and enhancing data quality across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce internal and external reporting, delivering meaningful commercial insight
• Analyse customer purchasing behaviour, trading patterns and performance trends
• Translate core reports into clear recommendations with defined next steps
• Develop new value-adding reports and deliver ad-hoc analysis to support real-time decision making
• Support customer profitability reviews using internal and external market data
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement in reporting, processes and data governance
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance and reporting integrity
• Contribute to fast-paced commercial projects and business initiatives

About You

• Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills (Power BI desirable)
• Ideally you will have some work experience to demonstrate you are keen to work hard to achieve you goals.
• High attention to detail with a structured, methodical approach
• Commercially minded with a genuine interest in FMCG
• Confident communicating insights to stakeholders at varying levels
• Motivated to build a career within commercial finance or business partnering
