Claims Administrator

Manchester City Centre | £26,000 - £30,000


Our client is a fast-growing Claims Management Company (CMC) specialising in mis-sold car finance claims

With demand rising, they’re expanding their operations team and are now hiring a Claims Administrator to join their Manchester city centre office.

This team is the engine room of the business – keeping claims moving, chasing missing information, and ensuring lenders respond on time.

Key Responsibilities:

Client & Lender Communication

  • Liaising with clients and lenders via phone + email to progress claims
  • Handling inbound calls professionally and resolving queries confidently
  • Making outbound chaser calls to request missing documents / updates
  • Explaining clearly what information is needed and why (helping clients respond quickly!)
  • Speaking with clients in a friendly, professional way to guide them through the claims process and ensure requests from lenders are actioned quickly
  • Building rapport with customers to encourage prompt responses and keep claims progressing efficiently

Email & Workflow Processing

  • Managing high volumes of emails and allocating them through workflow queues
  • Prioritising tasks by urgency, deadlines, and workload
  • Spotting key information quickly and assigning actions efficiently
  • Working within a largely automated system while ensuring any client queries or outstanding information are followed up personally when needed

Case Management & CRM Updating

  • Updating case notes, documents, timestamps and claim status accurately
  • Moving claims through structured stages to avoid delays
  • Tracking caseloads to ensure nothing goes stale or dormant
  • Flagging cases that need escalation or specialist review

Document & Evidence Handling

  • Requesting missing documentation (ID, agreements, finance docs etc.)
  • Handling incoming post: opening, scanning, uploading + filing correctly
  • Keeping case files organised, complete and compliant
  • Reviewing lender responses and ensuring they’re actioned quickly

Compliance & Quality

  • Following processes in line with regulatory expectations
  • Maintaining high accuracy in data entry + document handling
  • Handling sensitive information securely and confidentially
  • Supporting a consistent, high-quality customer experience

Team Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Supporting colleagues during peak demand and managing workloads as a team
  • Sharing blockers and case insights with management
  • Suggesting improvements to workflows, templates and procedures
  • Supporting team targets through efficient, high-quality processing


What We’re Looking For

  • Confident and professional phone manner
  • Strong admin skills + excellent attention to detail
  • Compliance / regulatory experience (nice to have, not essential)
  • Comfortable processing high volumes of emails
  • Able to follow structured workflows and processes
  • Confident using CRMs + Google Workspace (Docs/Sheets etc.)
  • Works well in a fast-paced, process-driven environment
  • Strong customer service mindset – able to communicate clearly and build trust with clients over the phone
  • Someone who enjoys speaking with people and helping move processes forward
