About the Role

IRD Consultancy is partnering with a prestigious luxury watch and jewellery retailer to recruit an Assistant Manager for its Flagship boutique. This is a key leadership position supporting the Store Manager in driving commercial performance, overseeing daily operations, and maintaining exceptional brand standards.

Core responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager across operations, people leadership, and overall performance delivery
• Take full ownership of delegated areas, ensuring accountability and consistent execution
• Lead and develop colleagues while driving brand performance through events and sales initiatives
• Identify training needs, deliver structured feedback, and use reporting to improve results
• Propose and implement commercially driven ideas to strengthen performance and elevate store positioning

About You

• Proven management experience within luxury retail, ideally watches or fine jewellery
• Strong leadership and delegation skills, able to motivate and drive performance
• Confident analysing performance and delivering results
• Experience executing events, CRM activity, VM standards, and sales initiatives
• Commercially focused, able to introduce and implement initiatives that improve performance
• Hands-on, accountable, and comfortable leading a mid-size team (15-20+)
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a luxury retail management capacity
