Interim Business Process Analyst – Leading MGA (Outside IR35) -

INSURANCE EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL

We are partnering with a leading MGA on a significant underwriting transformation programme and are seeking an experienced Business Process Analyst on an interim basis.

The core platform is a Salesforce based underwriting workbench, supported by integrated applications across claims, pricing, finance and data. The remit is to review, analyse and redesign processes operating across this landscape, ensuring they are aligned, efficient and commercially effective.

This is not a technology-focused role. It requires a hands-on practitioner who understands underwriting in practice and how workbench-driven environments operate within the insurance market. The successful individual will be comfortable working at both process architecture level and detailed process mapping level, engaging directly with end users and operational teams.

Scope of Role

• current state processes across the underwriting workbench and supporting applications
• Conduct detailed process mapping and gap analysis
• Define and document target state process architecture
• Drive practical process redesign workshops with underwriting and operations teams
• Ensure alignment across underwriting, claims, pricing and finance systems
• Identify opportunities for automation using Power Automate and implement where appropriate
• Apply Copilot to enhance workflow efficiency and productivity
• Engage senior underwriting and operational stakeholders, translating business needs into executable change

Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Business Process Analyst within the insurance market
• Hands on experience analysing, mapping and redesigning underwriting processes
• Direct involvement in underwriting workbench programmes
• Strong understanding of MGA operating models
• Practical delivery experience with Power Automate
• Exposure to Copilot and its application in operational environments
