Job Description: Press Intern – London
We are currently seeking a full time Press intern for the MaxMara team at our London head office, with an immediate start until September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for any students looking to explore different roles in the luxury fashion industry.
Applicants must be on a placement year or require an internship for their university credits.
Main Responsibilities:
Daily
- Take direction from the wider team - communicating via phone, WhatsApp, email and in-person meetings
- Locate and pack samples for Send-Outs
- Booking couriers – local and country-wide
- Manage Returns via Launchmetrics
- Help maintain an orderly Press Room
Ad Hoc
- Flag anomalies (e.g. Unannounced shipments)
- Handle dry cleaning / mending
- Support gifting / seeding initiatives (packaging, writing notes, sending, etc)
- Admin tasks - e.g. Send out bag inventory and replenish, purchasing supplies
Seasonal
- Return old collections to HQ
- Receive, hang and barcode new collections
- Update Launchmetrics Portal with new collections
Extras
Additionally, depending on the right person etc, the following additional responsibilities could be added:
- Collating or updating media databases as and when needed
- Support with influencers / talent research if needed
- Support with coverage monitoring across online, social, and print
Ideal Candidate:
Key Technical Skills:
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Advanced use of Excel and effective use of Word is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to successfully and confidently interact with all stakeholders, at all levels
Key Behavioural Skills:
- Highly organised and able to prioritise, plan and manage a demanding and ever-changing workload
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Good team player and comfortable working on their own
- Proactive and problem solver mind-set and approach
- Adept at learning and developing
- Friendly and approachable manner
This is an unpaid role however we cover travel expenses within the London zones, and offer a daily lunch allowance for all members of our staff.
