Assistant Store Manager

Job description

We’re recruiting an Assistant Store Manager for a premium menswear boutique in Oxford. This is a great opportunity for an experienced retail Assistant Store Manager who enjoys leading by example, coaching teams to exceed targets, and delivering outstanding customer service.

You’ll play a key role in driving sales, maximising KPIs, and creating a positive, high-energy store environment. The role requires flexibility across weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

-Coach and motivate the sales team to exceed targets and KPIs

-Deliver first-class customer service and maintain a winning team culture

-Support product knowledge and sales training across the team

-Oversee daily store operations, administration, and compliance

-Ensure adherence to Health & Safety and security procedures

-Support stock management, visual standards, and operational excellence

About You

-Previous experience as a Assistant Store Manger, Supervisor or Key Holder in a retail environment

-Passionate about customer service and team development

-Confident coaching and improving individual KPI performance

-Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance sales and service

-Experience with stock management, operations, and visual merchandising
