What are you going to do:
>> Who are we?
A young and dynamic start-up which has developed an after-school childcare concept focused on a foreign language learning. We are committed to make as many children bilingual as possible and we are the only one to offer this service in London and England!
>> Who are we looking to hire?
- We hire native speakers preferably OR linguist students OR language assistants.
- We train you so you can properly pass on your knowledge and culture to the child.
- You need to be fun. You need to love kids. You need to have an appetite for teaching to young kids.
- You need to be creative and patient.
- You absolutely need to be reliable and commit to the job up to the end of the academic year (June 2018).
- You have some experience (childcare professional, babysitting, siblings, ...) looking after young kids 3+ and can communicate a few references.
- You can commit to at least 2 afternoons a week (potentially more).
- We will DBS check you.
- You don't have to have a driving license but if you have one it's a plus.
>> What will you be asked to do?
In England depending on the school, kids are free from 3pm-3:30pm onwards. Their parents are back home, depending on the families, in between 6pm-7pm. Each family will have their own requirements. But most generally speaking, your tasks will be:
- to pick up the child at school and bring him/her back home
- take them to any after-school club
- play and interact with the child in an educational way following our teaching method
- speak and write in your native language ONLY
- prepare simple meals if required by the parents
- keep track on a daily basis of what has been taught to the child (new words, new activities...)
- organise the child monthly assessment to let the parents know how their child is progressing
