As a supply chain specialist at Morrisons you’ll be taking ownership for outstanding availability at store, depot and item level in designated product categories whilst monitoring stock and waste targets to minimise cash impacts to the business.
You’ll be accountable for things like this;
Placing regular orders for stock in line with pre-agreed forecasts, making sure we achieve optimum availability for the customer
Gathering data on products to analyse trends and forecast sales for upcoming promotions, events or range refreshes
Reviewing supplier performance
Assess how best to maximise customer availability using the system to identify trends quickly
You’ll need skills and experience like this;
Experience of stock/sales forecasting and replenishment in a FMCG business
Experience of data analysis and subsequent decision making
Knowledge of forecasting, data analysis and stock control
Retail, seasonality and promotional cycles experience
