About Meridian


Meridian is a growing sales and customer engagement company based in Middlesbrough, working with recognised UK brands across sectors including energy and telecommunications. Our focus is supporting clients in strengthening customer relationships through professional, in-person engagement and account support.


As our operations continue to expand across the North East, we are looking for a Management Trainee to join our team and begin developing the skills needed for a long-term career in business leadership, sales management, and client account development.


This role offers a structured introduction to management, customer engagement, and business operations, supported by training and mentorship.


About the Role


As a Management Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience across key areas of the business while learning how teams operate and campaigns are delivered. The role combines customer interaction, campaign support, and operational learning, helping you develop the skills required to progress into team leadership and management positions.


You will work closely with experienced managers and team members to build practical knowledge in customer engagement, account support, and team coordination.


Key Responsibilities


• Support sales and customer engagement campaigns on behalf of clients

• Learn how to manage customer accounts and client relationships

• Assist with customer enquiries and maintain accurate campaign records

• Represent client brands professionally during in-person customer interactions

• Collaborate with colleagues to support daily business operations and campaign delivery

• Contribute to team targets and performance objectives

• Participate in training sessions focused on sales, leadership, and business development


Skills and Qualities


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally

• Good organisation and time management abilities

• No prior management experience required – full training provided
